Cruisin' Hidden Springs—August 20, 2016—RECAP
Our very own IBCC member, Lynn Gardner, took home Best of Show trophy at the Cruisin’ Hidden Springs car show! His beautiful 1968 Jaguar E type was a winner and was admired by many of the crowd who attended the show, and Jan’s red Spitfire was appreciated by many, as well!!
Thanks to the other IBCC members who participated and helped round out the British car corner— Jan Gardner, Bryan Connington, Terry Thompson and Rick Lake.
Glad we had some of our wonderful cars there to represent the British element at the car show. It was a good time for all who attended with fabulous cars to see, good food to eat and fun music to hear!

.....is just around the corner! On Sunday, September 18. 2016 at the Village at Meridian, we will have the 2nd Southwest Idaho All British Field Meet. This is your chance to show your British vehicle, be it a classic car, newer model or a British motorcycle, to the folks in the Treasure Valley. On top of that, you will be helping the Meridian Food Bank (MFB) collect food and money donations from the Village visitors during the show. The MFB will have a table and staff on hand who will hand out tokens for the donations, and these tokens will be used to vote for the Peoples Choice Award. There will be plenty for you to do at the Village, including shopping, eating at one of the many great restaurants, going to a movie or sipping beer while listening to the Beatles tribute band, Rooftop Revolution.
So slip on over to the Southwest Idaho All British Field Meet website ( http://www.swiabfm.org ) and sign up your car or motorcycle today! Hey, here is an incentive not to procrastinate: Register before August 15, 2016 and have your name added to the pot for a $100 cash prize to be raffled off at the show. Time's-awastin' so get that registration in soon!
